Two goons peed on his rug to pressure “the dude” Lebowski into paying a debt he is unaware of after he is mistaken for a billionaire Lebowski. He accepts a one-time job with a huge payoff while attempting to get his wealthy counterpart to compensate him for the damaged rug.

Zodiac (2007)
Zodiac (2007) is a movie that still lingers in my thoughts no probably because I was quite unsure about what might happen till the end. Fear pervades San Francisco in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a serial killer by the name of Zodiac prowls the city’s neighborhoods. Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Edwards, and Jake Gyllenhaal play detectives and reporters who grow fixated on finding the killer’s identity and bringing him to justice. Zodiac continues to kill people while taunting the authorities with coded communications, cyphers, and ominous phone calls.

Minority Report (2002)
I won’t resist saying, I didn’t move from my place the entire time while watching this movie. This might be because of the versatile performance by Tom Cruise or the mind-bending plot of the movie.
The science fiction action-thriller “Minority Report” is based on a narrative by renowned author Philip K. Dick and is set in Washington, D.C., in the year 2054. In this city, law enforcement officers catch and punish murderers before they commit their crimes using psychic technology. Confess, Fletch (2022)
At this point, I suppose I became obsessed with the Comedy Mystery genre. All thanks to the witty humor that is dropped by Jon Hamm in the movie as Fletch. The roguishly charming and consistently bothersome Fletch becomes the main suspect in a murder while looking into a case involving costly paintings that were stolen. He must sort through a vast list of suspects, including an art dealer, a lost playboy, an eccentric neighbor, and even his own lover, in order to establish his innocence.

Bandit (2022)
After breaking out of a Michigan jail, a charming career criminal adopts a new identity in Canada and, while being pursued by a police task group, robs a record-breaking 59 banks and jewelry stores. The movie is based on The Flying Bandit’s narrative and surely remained successful in giving us a taste of how criminals escape jails.

Mafia Mamma (2023)
Inspired by The Big Lebowski, we started our search for any recently released comedy mystery and ended up finding Mafia Mamma which is streaming on Showtime. She comically defies everyone’s expectations as the new leader of the family business under the direction of the company’s consignee.
The most unique part about the movie is the fact that it is based on the original story of Amanda Sthers so you can relate to the real-life struggles of the mom better.
